Hi, I'm John the Owner of LUX, I wanted to tell you a little about myself, my family, and how I can help you

  After a Successful Career in Michigan Specializing in Finance, Product Support, Project Management, and Sales at CATERPILLAR, I was left Feeling Unfulfilled by my Corporate Job.  My Wife was also Fed Up with Sitting Behind a Computer for 70+ Hours a Week as an Executive in Wealth Management.


This Desire for a More Mentally and Physically Challenging Life led to the Most Incredible Adventure and HUGE Leap of Faith!

Our New Home for the Next Few Years would be a
46’ Leopard Sailing Catamaran (Owner’s Version), Retrofitted for Circumnavigation; Including AIS, Solar, and Watermaker Systems.


My Wife and I Lived on this Yacht with our Son and Dog while sailing the Caribbean. Eventually, we settled in Puerto Rico until Hurricanes Irma and Maria Sent us Back to Michigan to give Birth to our 2nd child.

  Our Lives Changed Overnight, but as Avid Sailors & Divers you Can't Keep us Away from the Ocean!

   We Safely Sailed Over 3000 Miles, acquiring Expert Level Knowledge of Passage Planning, Navigation, & Propulsion Systems, Safety, Chart Plotting/ Weather Routing, Fuel Consumption, Ship’s Budget, Log Book, Crew Documentation, Provisioning & Yacht Maintenance.

 

  After moving to Florida we noticed an "Island Life" attitude among Vendors and Project Managers we hired for Property and Yacht Maintenace.

  Frustrated by the Low Standards we experienced in Real Estate and Yachting we decided to start our own business.

Home Management (8 Hours Per Week) Cost $0.40 Per Sq Ft Per Month

*Invoices, Service Contracts, and Expenses billed at cost plus 7%

  • Visual Exterior Check: Gates, Landscaping, Lawn, Sprinklers, Roof, Screens, Windows, Fence, Dock, Boat Lift, Pool, Cameras, & Yacht

  • Inspect Plumbing & Electrical Systems, Check Circuit Breaker Panels, Check Water Heater

  • Visually Check AC Units for Leaks, Proper Working Condition & Verify AC Settings; adjust as necessary

  • Check the Pool’s Equipment, Control Panel Settings, Water Level & Condition of Water

  • Start All Vehicles ( Wash/ Service/ Wax When Needed, Ensure Batteries are on Trickle Charger in Off-Season)

  • Test Elevator Operation

  • Outdoor Grill: Polish Grill, Test Operation, Clean Sinks & Counter Tops

  • Change Batteries in ALL Smoke Detectors Every 6 Months
